Probably one of the most downloaded bible apps around. It requires data mostly although they do have resources you can download onto your device. The app is geared to people who would like social interaction with others sharing some of your favorite verses

This is Gideons bible app. We recommend it for people wanting biblical answers to all of life's situations. What we like about the Gideons, apart from the enormous help they have been in handing out free bibles, is they deal strictly with only giving biblical answer. Very handy app if you are relatively new to reading your bible.
